Terms of Service

By using the LocalSpot beta, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Local discovery service

LocalSpot displays information submitted by sellers and community members. Listings may change or expire quickly. LocalSpot does not guarantee that a listing, product, service, event, property, price, schedule, or location is accurate or available.

Safe and lawful use

Use LocalSpot lawfully and responsibly. Do not trespass, enter private property outside approved public hours, misrepresent a business or property, upload unlawful or harmful content, create scams, or interfere with the service.

Prohibited listings and conduct

LocalSpot may not be used for weapons, firearms, explosives, violence, threats, dangerous items, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, cannabis, controlled substances, sexual services, explicit content, exploitation, stolen or counterfeit goods, scams, gambling, harassment, hate, or any other unlawful activity. Do not use LocalSpot for dating, personal solicitation, or activity unrelated to lawful listings in LocalSpot’s supported categories.

Seller responsibilities

Sellers must provide accurate, current information; have permission to publish the location and content; follow applicable permits, licenses, real-estate rules, and laws; and promptly pause or update inactive listings. Open-house publishers are responsible for required brokerage and license disclosures. Fundraising listings must be authorized, accurately identify the organizing group or beneficiary, and must not expose children’s private information. LocalSpot does not collect donations or verify charitable status.

Accounts and deletion

You are responsible for safeguarding your account. You may permanently delete your account through LocalSpot’s account settings or the public account deletion page. Deletion removes associated profile and listing data except limited records that may be retained when legally or operationally necessary for safety.

Review and removal

LocalSpot may review, reject, pause, remove, suspend, or preserve records of listings and accounts to protect users, enforce these terms, respond to reports, or comply with law. Serious or repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination. Approval does not mean LocalSpot endorses or guarantees a listing.

Transactions and third parties

LocalSpot is not currently a party to transactions between users and sellers. Directions and external links may use third-party services with their own terms and privacy practices.

Beta availability

The beta is provided as available and may change, experience interruptions, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, use is at your own risk and LocalSpot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the beta.

Changes

These terms may be updated as LocalSpot develops. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.
